History shows that appeasement is a failed strategy. Obama's approach only gives legitimacy to our enemies. His inexperience in international affairs only serves to compound his naivety. I think that time will show 'Obamania' is a passing fad.
To respond to this comment, because clearly the Republicans' approach to international relations, making war to all their potential 'enemies' as you say, or the 'axis of evil' involving false resons such as WMD is the way to go? I think it's about time the US gets at president like Obama.
